FACT! The Irish Wolfhound is officially on the list of vulnerable dog breeds in danger of disappearing. In a breed as fragile as the Irish Wolfhound, our goal must be to breed the healthiest dogs we possibly can. As such, we take great pride in the fact that Norhunter's health statistics are head and shoulders above the national averages for all health issues facing this breed. Don't believe us? I would love the opportunity to discuss our kennel's health statistics with you!! Facts and statistics don't lie.

WE ARE SO HAPPY YOU STOPPED BY!
Here at Norhunter Irish Wolfhounds, we are primarily breeding for quality family dogs with our focus on health and temperament. Although this breed has historically been only for the elite, we believe that regular families also deserve the opportunity to experience the wonder of Irish Wolfhounds and we are so happy to be able to help make that possible.
If you are interested in purchasing a dog for showing please let us know that in advance as that changes the selection process of the puppy. All dogs are sold on a non-breeding agreement - exceptions may be made for an approved registered breeder.
Some of our wolfhounds are competing in lure coursing, some are being shown in conformation shows and obedience trials, some are actively participating in therapy dog programs. One has even appeared in the television show Reign. Others are professional couch potatoes and we are equally proud of all of them!
Our dogs are Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) registered, microchipped, and come with health certificate and their first set of vaccinations administered at 8 weeks of age. We also provide 6 weeks of free pet insurance through Pets Plus Us.
** Our puppies do not go to their new homes until they are 10 weeks old if picked up or delivered to their families. Puppy choosing will not be done until they have received their 8 week vaccination and health check, this is done in the order that deposits are received with guidance and recommendations by us.
Our puppies come with a lifetime of support and assistance. We stay in touch with our families and we are always available to assist in any way we can throughout the life of our dogs. We stand behind all of our puppies with a one year congenital health guarantee and will glady take back any one of our dogs, at any time, at any age, should you find yourself unable to care for them for any reason - we will always welcome them back into our pack.
** Our breeding dogs have been health tested for heart and eye disease by certified canine cardiologist and canine optomotrist and we can provide you with those health clearance certificates
Proud member of the Royal Canin Breeders Club.
** References are available from our many happy families and if you are interested in meeting some of our dogs in person, we may be able to arrange for you to meet one of our families who may be in your area
